Hi! How are you all doing? I hope you are all doing well. Was the last email helpful on the benefits of fiber?
Before going plant-based I enjoyed eating tuna sandwiches or tuna melts. I have made “tuna” several times using garbanzo beans and it tasted pretty good.
As I mentioned in prior emails, I don’t have a Costco, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, or Grocery Outlet near me. When I do make the trek, it is about 1 1/2 hours each way. I like to make my shopping trip worthwhile. I shop as many of these stores as I can. One direction I go, doesn’t have a Trader Joe’s.
I do like shopping at Grocery Outlet. They have many organic and plant-based products. The only thing is that they may not always carry that particular product, so when you see something you like, purchase several of them. There prices are usually lower than the grocery store.
I came across Good Catch Fish Free Tuna. It is a plant-based tuna and the package was 3.3 oz. and had 17 grams of protein. It is a one serving package and was $1.99. The same thing at Safeway was $4.99.
I bought some and it reminded me of chunk albacore texture. I mixed up a batch of “tuna” salad and my husband loved it.
Good Catch fish free tuna is a protein-rich, nutrient dense entre packed with beneficial omegas. They start with a proprietary six-legume blend (peas, chickpeas, lentils, soy, fava beans, and navy beans. They add sea algae oil, which is rich in DHA, an essential omega-3 fatty acid.

It is rated excellent on the Yuka app.
If you come across it, give it a try. It is great for traveling.
