When I made these muffins, I used date syrup instead of the brown sugar. My husband’s only request was to add some chocolate chips to the muffins.
These muffins are much better than store bought, because you know what you put in it, and it doesn’t have any oil added to it. You can also adjust the amount of sweetener you want to use.
I am planning on making some other type of muffins to put in the freezer. It’s great to have on hand, especially if you have a last-minute trip and you want to take something healthy to eat. I purchased small packets of organic nut butter to have on hand to take along with the muffins.
