Hi! How are you all doing? I hope you are all well. In this email I would like to share some ideas of what you can make with things from your pantry, fridge, or freezer. I also want to share some websites that have more ideas and recipes, using food you have at home.
Pasta with walnut mushroom bolognese - pasta, canned tomatoes to make sauce, mushrooms, and walnuts.
Chili - there’s all kinds of recipes out there using canned beans or made from scratch, canned tomatoes, onions, corn - canned or frozen
Stir fry - rice or quinoa or other grain, assorted veggies (fresh or frozen)
Bean burrito - flour tortillas, refried beans, salsa
Smoothie - plant milk, frozen fruit - additional add-ins - flax, hemp seed, greens chia seeds, nut butter
Bean and Rice Salad - cooked rice, beans (at least 2 different kind), onion, bell pepper, jalapeno, juice of 1 lime, cilantro
French Toast - ground flax seed, plant milk, cinnamon, vanilla, whole grain bread
Overnight oats - rolled oats, fruit, plant milk
I did not put recipes with the above dishes, you can just make it up as you go or if you’re not sure look online for a recipe. You will also need to add spices and/or condiments to the above ingredients.

You can find many more sites on line. It’s a good idea to have a variety of spices and condiments on hand to add to your dish.
Do you have a dish you like to make with ingredients from your pantry?
In the next email I will share some apps where you can find recipes with the ingredients you already have.

You can see if your baking powder is still good by mixing 1 teaspoon of it with 1/3 cup hot water. If the baking powder is fresh, the mixture should produce lots of bubbles.
